I Like You [Deep House]

Well I've gone Deep. For the better. I think I've grown up quite a lot in my production. All my songs prior to this one I didn't "baby" my drums, or, actually put time into making the kicks sound perfect. With this track I had new knowledge about using Compression and Attack times. Made a huge difference. I hope you like this one!

Hey there,

Nice work, I like this track. The only thing I don't like is the jazzy kinda sounds, I don't think they really fit the song.

And the sidechained supersaw is also a bit annoying.

Thanks a lot! Jazz & Deep House go hand in hand though!

The supersaw pad is supposed to give the song a kind of dark feel to it. I guess maybe I could have not used it so much

needs
- more percussion
- less kick
- more variation in the automation

the huge kick is not very funky. try to work more with the other percussion and push that offbeat ahead a tad

sound is a little muddy

has a nice plastic city sound to it but that vocal is annoying.

it's a little generic, but not bad. if it's your first time i guess there is a philosophical reason for starting generic but id encourage you to push it next time
