Looking for a decent fog machine and lasers

Please post your recommendations, backed with links or specs, if possible. I need a good fog machine for a party 4 weeks away (that doesnt make the place or my DJ equipment wet) and a good laser lightning system for a house party, a big room size (30 by 30 feet).

I am looking for a fog machine that makes fog that doesnt just stay close to the floor. I want fog more elevated to work better with the effects from the lasers. And I am looking for a laser system that can be easily placed on a table or a tall piece of furniture to cover the whole room well.

EDIT: For lasers I found a great website, with long history of Ebay sales too under extremelasers seller account - is http://www.extremelasers.com/CY-5G.htm any good? Is that website gonna give me good quality lasers?

For fog machines, I looked around and so far I liked Chauvet F-1700 1700watt Fog Machine ... but please recommend your favourites.

Many thanks in advance.

OK, I wanted to get a fog machine recommendation, but I couldn't pass up a good deal on Ebay and bought Chauvet F-1700 1700watt Fog Machine w/remote, almost a third of its price from a reputable seller with whom I've done business before.

I hope it creates the fog that can also float (if enough fog is pumped into the room). I am crossing my fingers ... but I hope you guys can tell me something about this fog machine ...

See if you can get your hands on the Kam DMX Star Cluster. The DJ Tutor Johnathan on You Tube always uses it and it's the sickest personal size laser I've ever seen.

Fock. I just bought Chauvet F-1700 for a deal ... but Magnum looks really good.

As soon as my equipment comes in (n addition to the ones I mentioned already), I'll test it and make sure to post comments.

Thanks for the recommendations, keep them coming!

300+ pounds, before shipping and customs fees ... waaaaay over my budget.

URGENT: I have a very important question - for "DMX-controlled" lasers, will they work as stand-alone without any additional equipment, or do I have to buy a DMX controller? I am interested in buying this product, but need to be sure I can use it without anything else.

You will need DMX controller for DMX lights but I'm not sure with DMX laser because I never used DMX laser before.

Don't most new models have a sound mode where they'll just react to the sound on their own?

Would the machine accept water-based, unscented Chauvet fog juice? I bought lots of it. I need a new machine after my F1700 died.
