personally i think hes a fucking pussy ass gorilla who can barely even fight. he doesnt have any technique, just pure muscle, but doesnt even have any endurance. dont get me wrong, id die in 2 seconds at the hand of that man, but all these pussy ass youtube videos where hes fighting big out of shape people or people who have absolutely no technique or experience is just retarded. and dont get me started on the cbs fight... he barely fucking won!!! they picked a guy that kimbo could knock out in 30 seconds and kimbo barely won. what a fucking joke! id love to see some short skinny chinky guy (ala bruce lee) just fucking whip the floor with kimbo. but itll never happen.

He is new int he game.

He didn't say 'when i grow up i wanna be in mma fights'. The guy did it to survive and that;s how he got there.

He absolutely sucks on the floor but if it would have been like the fight before him.....[just boxing] he could have kicked his ass. The fight before wouldn't take it to the floor that's the only thing that bugged me.

Kimbo should train and improve his fighting style. Once he is at his peak they should have him fight Brock Lesnar at his peak. There's a match worth watching.

from what i hear jackie chan and jet li really don't know how to fight. their style of martial arts is just a lot of preplanned choreography, though i'm sure they are a lot quicker than the average fighter.

Kimbo is currently training to improve his technique. That being said, I doubt he will ever be more than a big, tough guy that can take big shots and throw haymakers. Technique wise and ground game, he will always be well below average, but he is as tough and strong as they come.

I'm One of the biggest MMA fans out there and have done martial arts my whole life. Also currently training with Mr. Luis Palhares here in jville, 6th degree Rickson Gracie(Roycex10) Blackbelt. So trust me when i say this..

I like Kevin Furgeson as a person. Smart, humble and tough mofo. Kimbo is garbage as a Fighter much less a pro MMA fighter. I would of never thought i'd come on the FL TA forum and see his name. I remember b4 his videos were really out there, his manager came and posted on www.mma.tv which is like the ta.com of MMA fans. 5k challenge, well Sean Gannon along with many fighters didnt hesitate on that one. He got beat by a guy that lost his first UFC fight by KO in the first round.

Now he has to get the ref to save him from James Thompson who was k/o'd by a Judo player! Along with alot of other people like mentioned b4. He display NO Ju Jitsi/wrestling skill at all, and it was sloppy as hell. If he fought anyone with Blue Belt level BJJ he'd be tapped out easily once it hit the ground. JT isnt the best and was learning MMA via DVDs a year or two ago but is no joke now. Hes a great guy, he posts on that board and i know he wanted to win and shoulda won.

I hope there are no kimbo nutthuggers here so i don't have to type anymore, but if your interested in MMA and wanna learn more. PLEZ do some research, its easy to learn what the sport is about(no boatyard street fights). Check www.mma.tv forums and u can watch lots of fights online via sites like www.fightlinker.com and dailymotion/youtube.

And ya Kimbo has been under Bas Rutten (look him up on youtube) who is a legend in the sport and a badass. Hes been traning for say a year and a half to 2 years. Martial arts, much less PRO MMA takes YEARS and YEARS of training in individual things. Hes 34(i'd bet u money hes not) and has limited time. They are cashing in while they can, he'll never be able to reach A or B level status but he attracts people to the sport and thats great. EliteXC just needs to stop using him and building his hype. Hype real fighters who earned it..

I might get my face smashed by the time I can get half guard or side control. Judging from the JT fight i'd say he can be sub'd quite quick by someone good on the ground and big enough to control him.

MMA requires wrestling/jujitsu experience and hes only got about 2 years of dedication. Bas is perfect for his style but I think he should be learning from say Josh Barnett? Handy? Robert Drysdalle dedicated wrestling, spwrall, and submission defense/offense to keep wrestlers off you. A few more years and he'll be good. Hes just a hype machine atm and will expose how tough the sport is.

If ya'll didn't know his next fight is with Brett "Grim" Rodgers! He KO'd James Thompson with 1 punch in the first round. Hes got time invested in the shit and hes starting to put it all together. Kimbos in trouble lol.. Grim called his fight with JT "Garbage" and Kimbo bowed up on him and now Kimbo fights someone legit.
