TA cooks!

Who likes to cook? I can't say I'm an expert or anything but I, for one, have a blast the three or four times a month that I do. Any special recipes or dishes you guys do? Here's some pics haha...

i wanted to make a cake so bad tonight. I was all excited i had the mix and everything. then i go to grab 3 eggs and theres one left i was too tired to go out and get them so ill just make it tom haha

try this recipe sometime

3 Cups Sugar
3/4 Cup Margarine, Softened
1+1/3 Cups frozen egg substitute, thawed
1+1/2 Cups low-fat sour cream
1 teaspon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Sliced Almonds
Cooking Spray

Cream sugar and margarine at medium speed of an electric mixer until combined.
Gradually add egg substitute, beating well.

Combine sour cream and baking soda; stir well, and set aside.
Combine flour and salt; with mixer running at low speed, add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream mixture, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Stir in vanilla and almond extracts.
Spoon batter into a 10 inch tube pan coated with cooking spray.
Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 35 minutes or until a wooden toothpic inserted in center comes out clean..
Remove from pan.
Cool on a wire rack.

Talking Mmm I love to cook

Well I grew up with my Dad only here in nyc and way before I came here he worked at a restaurant in jersey before he went to school and started working in the city . After that he learned American/Italian style cooking while having Polish/European cooking on a lock down So I learned from him and I impressed my girlfriend and friends on many occasions . Check it out .

My Famous Spicy Rib .

I Spice up the Ribs with my Own Mixture and my own BBQ Sauce .

I Put
Japlapones
Diced Garlic
Yellow Peppers
Red Pepper
Sour Pickle
Celery

and Lime .

I always pour a Polish Beer in for some Flavor . It Works really Nice with the Ribs .

After about 2 1/2 Hours into the Cooking I Then uncover them Set the Sauce Aside , Put my own BBQ sauce on them and then I let them Bake for about an Hour so they get really nice so that you have to bit them off the bone so they dont just fall apart but dam they are filled with flavor from the vegetables , Lime and the Beer .

After Baking they come out like This !

Pineapple & Beef

I go to a Fruit Store and a polish Market around my Way I don't know how to call this in English but I know the meat is Beef but its a special Part its really Good called Karowka in Polish For cooking or BBQ its really Good . I get a Fresh Pineapple you have to know how to cut it up right too . Basically I let the Pineapple chill upside down in the Fridge so all the juices low down into the fruit as I prepare the meat with the my own mixture of spices . I like to cut diamond shapes into the meat and rub the mixture into the meat . I Put my own blend of bbq sauce after the cooking part once I start roasting it I put it on .


I Put some vegetables in as always for flavor . But my main ingredients are Pineapple and Banana Peppers mmmm I LOVE Banana Peppers


I let me cook for about 3 hours then I take out spill out the sauce with the vegetables I just pick up the Pineapple and Banana Peppers then I roast it , the Pineapple and the Beef is so Good once its done really full of flavor you gotta Bug out when you cook and try to do it your own way , don't always follow the recipes word for word





Mmmmmmmmmm

And for a Snack Hit me up For My BBQ Tex-Mex Pizza lol I use Tex-Mex cheese on it thats how I picked the name for it hehe Pepper Jack cheese is off the hook too !

its deff fun/relaxing
last week i made pork chops with vinager and pepers and veal with artichoke hearts and capers in a white wine sauce
next week iam planning on gettin some shrimp,scallops and baby octopus and makeing some kelbabs mmmmmmm

Need mooooar chicken recipes. Some of us don't eat red meat even though it looks soooo goooooooooooood.

-sigh- It's 3 months since we last had red meat! Giving it up is worse than crack lolol.


I can make a turkey breast, black bean burgers, spinach lasagna, imperial rice...... mmmmmmm . . and some mac & cheese

I got some pics at home [i think] The lasagna and imperial rice look the same from the top cuz they are covered with cheese!

I used to eat just peanut butter but i decided i needed to switch it up a little so now i throw a little strawberry jelly on every now and then. I'm sorry i dont own any peanut butter paraphernalia, i guess i'm not cool enough to be in your club
