Tiësto ft. BMG - No More Heroes (Neuchatel Dark Mix)

Hi i'm back! With about 20 new and old projects, and a bachelor thesis, on my mind, I just needed to relax with a little remix.

I sat and made a new track as usual, and while i created it just popped into my mind "Why not put the melody of Heroes in there, and see what comes out of it"... and after a while I found the BMG track on youtube, and really enjoyed it, so I decided put in some elements from this one also.

This is a little cutie I created over two days. Main focus is the darkness of the track, boosted with some 303-basslines and psy/dark trance-like synthlines. It morphs into more uplifting in the break and take-off.

I really enjoyed making this one, because it got so much drive and good bassgroove in it, so have fun listening.

This is evil in the most wicked of ways What else can I say, simply awesome, I love all the phases in this track .. normally this would seem a bit chaotic for me but because you say you were going for a dark psy feel then it really works. Love the way you morph and twist the No More Heroes melody, I swear you've gotta be the second-coming of Tiesto or something lol

yo mate, had a listen.. must say i like the idea of the psy-ish/goa feel it has.. nicely done the intro and the build up!! a big wow for the pad breakdown... for sure a pro sounding remix! nicely done man. keep up the good work!

Ok everyone! Check the track now! It has really consumed three days of my life, and now the final result is here. I have extended the best psy parts, fixed the main melody to the actual original one, and in overall made it almost 2 minutes longer. Now its just massive

Heavy Wight on this one m8!!! i feel like someone is throwing bricks at me, its awesome by far! 2:40 i dont like the sounds coming in so much... that mellow lead needs more edge... the melody is nice and flowing, and the random fxs is in place! the part after the break ruined it to me personnally i expected something not melodic at all, i dont like those kind of melodies... sorry, from there on you lost me, it was a smooth listen but the feeling from the start gone, too much emphasis on the melodic part for me, later on it returns to the original groove again which i really liked... maybe make an unmelodic version of it just for me? i think people would really enjoy it, i just didnt connect to the main part, nice going there! keep it up!

I know the melody is cheesy, thats how this snobbish tiesto likes it. maybe i just transform it into an overall dark trance track. fuck, tiesto probably wants royalties from his copyright anyway.

i havent heard the original track, but i tell you, remove the main melody, make it techier and darker and you got me as a major fan

I just can't say I hear much of the Heroes theme in it? It's not a bad thing though! lol

aha here it goes...not really a fan of this sound...the theme sounded much better in Tiesto's original (not that I am a tiesto fan, but uh oh)

otherwise a good job!

Well the heroes theme is there, absolute. In the first version i put up it was a little wrong, but now its the exact melody. Just forward to the breakdown and whomp there it is, cheesy as fuck. so are you sure you heard the newest version? anyways thanks for all the nicest comments you guys gave me

I've just listened again, I know the theme was there in the breakdown (found out later than I had wrote that).

Though..there's something just wrong with the melodies after the breakdown...to me it sounds like a note there was off your key. Or something...can't say exactly what is wrong there...but I can tell you there something is... that makes me a bit nervous whenever I listen to the other half of your tune.
