v-station at guitarcenter for 79.99... steal no?
so i call up guitarcenter for memorial day sale and they tell me v-station is on sale for 79.99, from a previous price of 99.99...
ok didnt think much of it then but then i look online and find it goes for 299.99...
go back in and they tell me its being clearanced out and will no longer be carried...
I'm thinking I'm picking that up first thing tonight!
i saw it for 30 hold on and i'll try find the link for you
http://www.absolutemusic.co.uk/shop...?product=novvst
i think im still gonna pick this up at GC... 30 british lbs plus shipping im sure will make that more than a hassle then its worth
USD is worth half a lb
I bought it for 27 EUR (21 GBP) recently, from www.thomann.de.
iv never, EVER, seen a good deal at guitar center......ever
These dump prices mean the product will be discontinued soon or am I missing something?

yea ive decided against this purchase now... the value seems to have certainly dropped so not that great a deal I suppose.
You do know this is software not hardware right?
ie- its not K-Station

this price doesnt seem anything special to me now... multiple places selling it at this discount, it will still be that way in the future... maybe there's a v-station 2 coming out that i should wait for... and then i thought about what i already have (komplete synths + albino), i think im set in the synth department, money better spent on samples... battery or akoustik piano for example

:
i bought v station A LONG TIME AGO. and i like never use it...
i got it at the same time i got NI Pro-53 and arturia cs-80v.
had i bought v station all by itself, maybe i'd have used it, but pro-53 is such an amazing softsynth, as is the cs-80v.
if you can get it for less than $50 i'd buy it, otherwise i'd look into other synths that are about $100.. (image line poizone anyone?)
david
poizone is awesome. so quick to program so its great for commonly used sounds
