These dump prices mean the product will be discontinued soon or am I missing something?

thomann has it for very low prices since over a year now. don't think it will be discontinued right now. it's more due to the age of it.

yea ive decided against this purchase now... the value seems to have certainly dropped so not that great a deal I suppose.

What you NOT buying it cos it's cheaper?

Posted by ClearWater on Jun-05-2008 22:18:

this price doesnt seem anything special to me now... multiple places selling it at this discount, it will still be that way in the future... maybe there's a v-station 2 coming out that i should wait for... and then i thought about what i already have (komplete synths + albino), i think im set in the synth department, money better spent on samples... battery or akoustik piano for example

This is a perfect reason shy you SHOULD buy it now - so you can take advantage of the upgrade for previous owners if/when a new version is released. That usually works to your advantage.

BTW, are you guys still seeing the $79 cost advertised anywhere here in the U.S.? I just did a quick google search and only found the $249 price and/or out-of-stock. I don't really need V-Station, but at that price and perhaps with an upgrade in the near future I just may have to pick it up.

edit: nevermind, I found it and just added it to my arsenal :
$79 Novation V-Station at NovaMusik

i bought v station A LONG TIME AGO. and i like never use it...

i got it at the same time i got NI Pro-53 and arturia cs-80v.

had i bought v station all by itself, maybe i'd have used it, but pro-53 is such an amazing softsynth, as is the cs-80v.

if you can get it for less than $50 i'd buy it, otherwise i'd look into other synths that are about $100.. (image line poizone anyone?)

You think? I thought pro-53 was pretty terrible when I tried the demo.

Yeah sounds bad, although pretty easy to program. V-station is awesome though.
