$7/gallon, which will make me pay about $100 per trip to the gas station to fill up the tank. Then it'll cost me about $20 roundtrip to go to Vanguard or Downtown LA, which is about the same price as parking there..

I hope that day never comes. A beer shortage would be much worse than a gas shortage.

Posted by stefanoc on Jun-04-2008 22:31:

no matter what the price of gas is i will not stop driving my car. or worst comes to worst i'll buy an electric car.

imo, you won't see much more increases in prices for another while (approximately a bit less than $5 for another year or two).

Seriously? Try over $5 by the end of this summer! (God I hope I'm wrong, but that's what most predictions are pointing to.)

Chrysler too......and i saw some ad for Suzuki talking about free gas for a year

Posted by skwallie on Jun-04-2008 23:46:

it's only due time till we'll be paying at least $10 a gallon.

in german, lyndsay is paying $140 to fill up her small commuter car. so, we will all just need to expect this for what is. even with all these prices going up i will still be driving.

Posted by epic007 on Jun-05-2008 00:31:

Work is 5 miles away... get about 18 miles to a gallon.

So I guess it works out... and taking I work at an oil refinery it really pays off!

Sorry guys... I sometimes hate myself, but hell, you cant beat the money they are paying me. I cant quit now and go against the grain!

Glad you saw some humor in that. I actually have some people pissed at me because of where I work.

There's nothing I can do about it! I too pay at the pump, but I am lucky to be so close to work. I'm considering riding my bike... I could use the exercise.
