Yoga experts?
I'm looking to buy someone a good yoga mat as a gift.
Given that I know essentially nothing about yoga and what to look for in a mat...any suggestions? $$$ isn't too important, I'm looking for quality.
There's the obvious Lululemon option, but I'm just wondering if anyone here has a suggestion?
Thanks!
Go to Walmart and pick up a Gaiam Yoga mat set. Comes w/ mat, beginner's dvd and a net bag all packaged nicely in a box for $30. Best value. Anything higher is all hype and marketing b.s. That's if you don't personally have a thing against Walmart. Goodluck
Im not an expert
but my mat is from Lululemon and I love it <3
I use to have a Nike one from Sportchek, it was great too.
Cheaper ones from walmart (or else where) can be really thin and have little grip

I like my yoga mat like I like my men: long and thick.
Speaking of Yoga: Could anyone recommend a good Yoga class/studio in the east end?

Define east end?
Yoga Sanctuary on the Danforth (near Chester, I believe) is solid.
Thanks Skipper,
I'm at Donlands and Danforth. So your suggestion is perfect.
I think the Danforth location was recently renovated/expanded. I went before and it was still nice.

Their college location is probably my favorite yoga space in the city...beautiful. (even if it is noisy sometimes)
