Puppies > Kitties

why are so many people anti cat? just because they don't shower you with attention when you walk in the door?

i have one of each and my cat may not be the most cuddly thing, but she's hilarious (when she gets wound up with her toys) and protective and eats all the bugs. they are putting a new roof on my apt. building which has been causing lots of little bugs to be in my apt. and it's pissing me off...but at least they are dead when i find them. thanks to my little girl cats rock.

oh and i don't have to walk her either.

Obviously dogs are better than cats. But the combination of kitten + puppy = awwwwwww

the little dogs can be trained to go on the "poopie pads" or even a type of litter box, so dogs win yet again

I dont know I personally prefer dogs over cats having had both dogs are more fun ...... Cats are too hyper and Im always scared that it scrach me with its nail somewhere...........I will def keep a nice small cute lil adorable puppy in the new house .... I just have to convince my mom first.

Well its just that I have a problem with people who blindly going into dog owning. Like not really doing their homework or realizing the responsibility that comes with owning a dogespecially if u get it at as a puppy. It takes time and patience to train them (and you should absolutely train them). Thats why I wish people wouldnt automatically dismiss the idea of getting a cat first (half the responsibility).

My friend just recently took in a 5 month old black lab. When he told me about it, I wasnt happy at all. Why? Because he is a fucking lazy slob who parties like a rock star every other weekend and I knew right away that dog would be in a cage for the most part or be left alone a lot in his messy shithole apartment. I literally said to him, Dude, you should really try to find a better home for him. Labs are like THE most high maintenance dogs when it comes to training them. Both my uncle and sister own black labs and they never take them out or run them or train them. They are huge and jump all over everyone when they walk in the front door. It pisses me off. If you are a lazy person or have an active lifestyle, its better to get a cat, or do your homework with dog breeds and find one that most fits your schedule and personality.

But then again, Im sort of against dog breeding these days too due to the overpopulation of pets already
