Solarstone.

Who here loves Solarstone!?

ESPECIALLY the new album, Rain Stars Eternal, which you should listen to right now. I swear, I'm listening to pure magic here! I honestly haven't felt like this listening to trance since when I first got into it a little over a year ago. There's also a new tour starting up to support the album! So I'll be crossing my fingers in hopes that legendary Solarstone will come to Los Angeles!

new stuff isn't really my thing... more into the solarstone of 5-8 years agoish

Haven't been a fan of the newer stuff but I have to admit the new album was better than I expected.

I thought the new album was poor.
However the recent track with Orkidea wasn't bad.

"4Ever" is the trance I like, it's beautiful.
Heard it first at Youtube, then forgot about it. Then listened ASOT 252 and loved it.

Love when vocals are used that way and sound that good.

Can't go wrong with a bit of solarstone.

Will be seeing him again soon. Should be awesome.

I'm a particular fan of the stuff they produced with scott bond.

I like his old productions with Scott Bond - 3rd Earth, Red Line Highway, and of course - Solarcoaster! One of trance anthems all the time!

Never heard of them. But I do like Solar Stone.

I was very skeptical after hearing about Solarstone bringing out a new album but after a few listens I'm in love. Some gorgeous tracks in it, and love the intro as well

is good. But Naked Angel is better. And Solar Coaster, and seven cities, and their remix of the orange theme, and remix of from russia with love <3 and also their remix of cafe del mar. Not forgetting the great remix of moonman - galaxia. Problem is, the last good thing they did was 2004, although the tune with orkidea is also nice from this year, but I dunno if it'll have the longevity of the rest. Most other things unfortunately are just not that good.

although it's not entirely their own "production" their mix cd/abelton set called "destinations/V1" i always thought was quite amazing for the time. i think it's been overlooked by many.

The original 14-minute version from 1999 is finally getting released next year in full on Tiger Shade along with another officially unreleased Solarstone ambient production titled Gathering Storm.

If the release will be anything like the rest of the material on Tiger Shade, it will come out on cd. Should be amazing to get something which has been waiting to get released for 10 years. Excluding the mixed appearance on Solarstone's Chilled Out Euphoria 7 years ago...
