What do you prefer?
Have been thinking about this for a while, and i saw it posted on another website.
Do you prefer going to a festival with 20-50 Dj's with a variety of sounds or would you rather go to a club that has 2-5 Djs at most that play a select genre which is programmed properly.

Interesting article with interview above.
I much prefer the latter.
latter
unless 1 has consistency to it.
generally dont like the whole larger crowds thing, just means more idiots you have to walk through to get to where you want to go.
Also means set time clashes which is a pain in the ass, lesser sound quality on the side stages eg. summadayze
Clubs.
Doesn't always have to be an intimate crowd, maybe 1000 people at the most is ok, but clubs, for sure.
large events, i've only been to a club once @ bass(bass-sation) when i was there and thats back in 2003/2004, since then i've aways been to the larger raves
one of the best gigs ive ever been to was the first time (i think it was the first time anyway) Kyau & Albert toured here...they played upstairs at the royal melbourne hotel before it had been renovated
the energy in that little room with such a great crowd was incredible, after seeing something as intimate as that it's hard to go past anything similar
not to mention kva really did deliver that night hahaha
Clubs - Ronski Speed @ Alitutude was off the charts
You tend to get better sets from the dj at club gigs as well
I prefer outdoor events but with a small number of internationals.
Future has gone overboard in recent years.
It used to be that they just had 5-6 big jocks on main stage, not 30 spread over six. It was much better that way I think.
events suck: intimate events ftw.
the big crowds create good atmosphere, but not worth the downs

Clug gigs fo sho!
BUSH DOOOOOOFS!
Better than fucking everything. + you get to go camping with your mates for 3 days and don't have to lineup anywhere.
Hmmm but that wasn't one of the choices .. but now that you mentioned it, doofs hands down every single time!

small intimate club night are the best! i love being able to have my own little space to rave in, and the added bonus of knowing everyone there is great!
Festivals/Raves are my pick if i had to choose. I lovedddd UltraWorld last year, it was F***ing awesome, Tiesto, Armin were amazing as well. I did go to Digweed in that underground nightclub this year and watched him for a few hours, but it was like a sauna and chocas! But Pharmacy parties with the rooms are awesummm as well
Interview will stay in clubs but you can certainly count on the interview elements outdoor events to be something on the calender in the very near future. lots of learning to be done first.
sunrise yeah i totally agree man, building from tech, prog, trance and then psy is serious fun!
that digweed gig @ qbar was fucking incredible. yes it was crowded but fuck me did he deliver for 4 solid hours.
i prefer club events to festivals, having been to a large share of both over the last 5 years...club nights are my preference. they give dj's a larger flexibility to play in their style not to the masses. note digweed's set this year at fmf was a bit of a mixed bag in some aspects as he played to the crowd.
problem with club nights is that there simply isnt this 'well programmed' happening much in melbourne. warm up dj's play too hard or with too much energy before the main acts. warm up is a hard act, i know but there's been some disgraceful attempts.
eg. andy murphy before sharam @ prince...hard french electro before main room prog? what?
rollin connection before nic fanciulli @ 24h darkbeat. too banging and techy before a guy who is known to work from deep house to techier sounds. his set had so much groove in the first 20 mins or so but he was getting no love from the crowd as rollin connection had been banging out just prior to him coming on. he changed his set to better please the crowd much to the dismay of people who like to see dj's progress over a longer period of time.
i've ranted. i vote the latter in short.

I like all events and clubs
my question is tho... with bush doofs
does everyones genitalia become crusty after like 3-4 days and does this potential crust build up rubbing on your thighs/knees/ankles depending on your level on blackness, and or vag, cause skin irritation AND how is this problem solved when such circumstances arive?
answer me that mother bitches !!!
