Is it bad for men to wear womans fragrance?
Let me explain myself before you guys start calling me gay and shit. i hooked up with this girl a couple nights ago and she left her perfume at my place. yesterday i was on the go so I sprayed some of her shit (versace bright crystal) and well..
a) it smells really fucking good.
b) several of my friends are just like "holy fuck. you smell so fucking good, im gonna have dreams about you now." even today I tested it out again in the field and people were commenting on how good i smelt. i was getting a lot of nice attention.
so i've been thinking about it, rather then getting this Life stuff from shoppers drug mart or axe clix (the blue one) i think I may drop a bomb on some of the versace, like why not right? there's nothing wrong with that is there?
Men wearing "fragrances' in general just seems a little gay to me.
you and AustralianGQ should go shopping together.

First of all, for the record (any ladies wanting to back this up, please do...), AXE doesn't count as cologne. Unless you are in high school, you should not be purchasing it. It will not cause gorgeous girls to come tear at your clothing, that was an advertising gimmick.
Also, of course it smells good. It's perfume. It is not in any way hetero to wear it out though. I would say call her, take the bottle back to her and BAM! Suprise buttsecks!

Sort of on-topic, but does anyone else here just not understand the whole perfume/cologne appeal?
I get really, really bothered when I smell someone who is clearly doused in either perfume or cologne, and though I know they all smell different, they all irritate my palette the same kind of way.
I think deodorant and after shave lotion are about as much scent as I can deal with.
I get irritated if someone is "doused" in it as you put it. A little can be nice, I think.
A lot of shampoos give girls' hair a nice smell without being overbearing.

Agreed about AXE, it's a terrible deodorant and a sub par cologne. Gross on all counts. As for cologne, one spray is all I wear and not even every day. Usually every other day or days I don't shave, otherwise aftershave is enough.
The last time I bought cologne the sales lady tried to sell me the accompanying aftershave, deodorant, face wash and body wash. Was she serious!? Are there really people out there that buy THAT much of one scent? You would absolutely REEK of the stuff

| Originally posted by lcid colognes/perfumes smell differently on everyone though, so if someone is wearing one that just doesn't work well on them, or they put way too much on, it's definitely annoying. combining cologne/perfume + natural scent can be pretty sexy if done right. i had a friend in high school who smelled so good in Hugo Boss cologne... but i never liked it as much on other people. |
yea i dont like cologne either. i mean yea it smells nice but only if he has a tiny tiny bit on...to enhance his own smell. and only for special occasions. i just prefer regular body scent.
