Saturday

I really hope that he doesn't hold back because he is playing at guvernment on Monday night... I went to THAT show last year and it was, hands down, the best club experience of my life. Seeing Lawler in the main room and then on the terrace in the morning till almost afternoon... gives me goosebumps thinking about it.
Lets all hope that he brings it and doesn't play cheesy crap because it is on a Saturday night at Vision. (fingers crossed and money in hand)

don't think he plans to "hold back". I'm going to his Guvernment show this year next Monday I can't wait!

You will have a blast... will be interesting to see what you think in comparing the two shows.... I do know that Lawler says that Toronto is his most favorite place to play outside of the UK. Oh... you make me want to skip class and drive up there... and I suppose I could because my professor is a HUGE Lawler fan.

Posted by cervy on Jun-27-2008 19:18:

bring him with?

yeah super excited about Monday especially with Nic & Dubfire also on the bill

Posted by MissNick on Jun-27-2008 19:36:

already there

My prof is coming to the Chicago show.... flying in from Bloomington (IN). It never ceases to amaze me how many IU professors are into EDM.

very nice

So here is my review.... the beginning of the night sucked because I felt like I got thrown in a box and sent to Antarctica with annoying women who wanted to try to sneak smoking cigarettes. THEN LAWLER came on and the darkness fell and the heat rose. Thank God. I was about to ask security for a blanked and I was one of the more dressed girls there. Steve was GREAT for me.... my second fave set of his I have seen. I liked the intimate environment and most people were cool, but I always have more rudness on the dance floor at vision and last night was no exception.
Blackjackers - Deep Breath and Bruno Banner - Space Shift were highlights for me as they are also on my latest mix download here AND all the lovely people who I gave a CD to..... I hope that you didn't get one that started with track 15 and then went to track one. It actually isn't as wierd as it could of been, but I am getting new burning program because of the glitch. You can still rip them and it is still very enjoyable in a car CD player.
By the way... I was in a grey wifebeater tank with a ponytail and silver jewelry.... looking like I was having the time of my life

So i managed to sneak out last night, hoping im going to see the show for for at least 30 min as i had to be back...

i got turned away at the door! (350am)
the rude dude is telling me that i should know better what time to come?!

Well i didnt know vision changed the rules cuz there were numerous times when i got there just before the end of the show on saturday nights....

great job vision!

Incredible night. dark, tribal beats and a great vibe. hung out on the 4th floor for a while and felt the bass kicking.

Milo and Dino did a great job opening for the 45 minutes to an hour we saw them, and Vision was definitely packed.
