GO GERMANY (where the hell do you hang out in Toronto?)
I'm looking for a hang out spot were all my fellow Germans will be watching the soccer game this thursday.
We mostly don't live in the city as we love the country, but there has got to be a small german district in Toronto.... I have yet to find one, so please let me know of any.
you're the only one.
sorry bro.

I went to this Germany bar on Queen St. & Bay Area..?
I'll check for the details, but I'd imagine they'd have the all the games there.
All the waitresses and waiters are all dressed up in the appropriate attire and its actually pretty classy.
Plus they have tons of German beer on tap!
My friend from Frankfurt took us there one day!
EDIT: Nevermind. It's not strictly a German bar, if that's what you want.
Amadeus Viennesse Restaurant & Bavarian Stube

Like there can be a "little Germany." There's the real one and that's it. Often imitated, never duplicated

Hahah, i was just pondering this same question yesterday!
out of all the ethnic groups that Toronto has, the Germans seem to be very few in numbers, either that or they have been Canadianized over the generations. I swear in the back of my mind i remember being at a German bar in Etobicoke a couple years ago, although i can't remember the name of the place.
I'm checking back here to see what TOTA can come up with. I'm stumped. and that rarely happens to me regarding my concrete jungle.
There was a european bar , on lakeshore and Islington but it was Polish. Super hot Women ouch !

As far as I know there are a decent amount of Germans in Southern Ontario, they just dont really congregate or flaunt the fact that they are german but instead just assimilate into general society.... unlike other immigrants... ie. chinese, italian, etc... not that its a bad thing or anything
maybe still a lingering the effect of the Holocaust.... couldnt have a 'little germany' or else everyone would just call it naziville or something... just my opinion
I was waiting for that reply haha. I wasn't born then so no idea lol.

The only people who put german flags on their cars are not German, too bad!
Once someone ringed my door bell and asked me if it was my car that had the german flag, then asked if I was german and didn't understand why would I hoist that flag. He was German.
geez, psycho drama.
