Hey people, EDM lover new to forums and the EDM quest/journey. My first question goes a little like this. Regarding DJing and tracklists. Is there an unacceptable method for accumulating a tracklist for a set? Obviously you don't want to play a set that is exactly the same as a top DJ's set. So a couple of songs from a set isn't a big deal correct? What's the max you would want to take from a current top DJ set and incorporate in yours?

Whatever you see fit really. The biggest thing about DJing is suppose to be being 'unique' and finding songs you dig.. And playing them out but playing some tracks from another mix is not a crime.

Play what you want.

.. but also try to dig deeper to find tracks that aren't played out to the max.
