Damn! That is once nice machine. Have you by chance run 3DMark 2006 or 3DMark Vantage? I'd love to know your scores with that monster.

And Zeiben WTF?! I somehow overlooked your specs but that is the mother beast of a system. It must eat video editing for lunch.

+ 350W Power supply
+ Lite-On DVD drive
+ Logitech 5.1 digital surround sound
+ free CRT monitor I chumped from work.

All in all, spent less than $600 for a very good computer, which would have cost me well over $1000 for the same performance.

3DMark Vantage scored a whopping 8897 and that is excellent!
3DMark 2006 score was vastly effected by not running it on a clean system so I was receiving some really lousy scores in 2K. Same thing happened to other people, oh well.

I have a very similar set up for my internet rig.

P4 @ 2.0Ghz
512MB RAM
1 x 1.5TB HDD
1 x 500GB HDD
2 x 300GB HDD
1 x 250GB HDD
Windows XP

And mine is also tucked away, only accessible through remote desktop. The P4 was a free comp from a friend, that I put in a really nice case, and made sure it had lots of cooling, then stocked it with hard drives.

My main computer is soooo old now!

Athlon XP @ 1.8Ghz
1GB RAM
30GB HDD
64MB vid card AGP
Creative Extigy sound card
5.1 system

I do not game anymore, and I am more of a data guy as you can tell. My computer does exactly what I want, and there is absolutely no reason to upgrade in my eyes. I still do enough audio editing, but I am just not willing to upgrade. I would much rather spend my money on hard drives.

Why do you need so many hard drives for?
Are you contributing to some sort of secret agency?

Intel Core i7 920 Processor (No overclock yet due to stock cooling)
EVGA X58 SLI Motherboard
6GB Corsair XMS 1600 DD3 Memory
MSI NX7900GT Video Card (Waiting for next generation to come out from either ATI or nVidia to upgrade)
2x 250GB Seagate Barracuda HDD (7200.10 Model) Running in RAID-0 Array
PC Power & Cooling 750W Silencer PSU
Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Platinum Soundcard
Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 Ultra w/ 2x Klipsch RSX-5's (Upgraded front L/R Sats)
Gateway FHD2401 24" LCD (7900GT is definitely struggling to push decent framerates on newer games @ 1920x1200 Resolution).

Running the Beta Version of Windows 7 (Build 7000) right now. So far so good with that.

Just put this system together a couple days ago, with some parts from the old desktop thrown in there (Harddrives/videocard/Soundcard and PSU). Having fun playing with the new OS, but don't see too much improvement in games as of yet, because of the videocard bottlenecking the system.

Upgraded from a Socket 939 Opteron Setup w/ Windows XP SP3.
