Steve Lawler @ Tribe - August 7th 2008

As stated on his mySpace. Sorry if I should wait until his June 26th gig passes but I got excited and thought I'd share. No biggie, just announcing another Lawler night yay!

So he's here yet again...makes me happy but hmmmm...the wheels are turning in my head- booked 2x in the same city at the same club within one and a half months!

I thought that MAYBE this August booking possibly had something to do with the rumoured Tribe Summer Massive #2 but the 7th falls on a Thursday and there aren't any holidays on the Friday, so I guess this booking has nada to do with it...If I'm right, then I cry But I smile as well cuz he's coming back so soon- hopefully his performance will be fresh and not too much of the stuff we'll hear on June 26th. Whatever, I have faith! And cheers to Tribe just because they keep bringing back my favourite DJ. Yay Steve!

The we Love Space on the 13th of June is really good(poor quality tho)
better then opening set

I am sure hes gonna play a lot of tracks from there, and I fkn hate that I can't make it out of this.

HA that's so true! Luckily I didn't work today cause of the rain, still drunk from last night.

Had a blast, I was IDing some tunes last night, but I don't remember any of them now

it was an OK set, nothing special. He started playing a bit before 12:30. I left at 2. Maybe the last hour got insane but anything before that was just ok.

Oh pascal man you shouldnt have left. THe last hour was just chaos. Dirty dirty, violent beats, just insane!!! LOved the set. THe beginning was ok, clubbish housy music but the last hour was just dark dirty stuff. LOVE IT!!!
