spinning in the dark, gooseneck lamps? led's?
does anyone recommend some good adjustable gooseneck lamps?
what about led vs conventional light?
i was looking around online and found some here

but wanted to get some good TA recommendations
what you neeed is a xone:42 which lights up when you put a UV light on it
At one point, I had an extra powered USB hub lying around. It also happened to fit nicely into the back of one of my CDJ flight cases, and I just plugged in a cheap USB gooseneck LED light into it. It worked reasonably well to illuminate my mixer (which basically has no lights), although the angle could have been better (glare off of the mixer front plate).

Big Al from readymix always wears a led headlamp
I have a little light on a keychain, we use candles at the club i spin every week
I have a small LED flashlight that I use for flipping through the binder. It's got 9 LEDs (I had to replace them b/c they were flaking out on me) and uses 3 AAA batteries.
Using a headlamp would be pretty interesting. While a full-blown mining/camping type might be overkill, maybe a smaller one would work. I think in the video for Hoobastank's 'The Reason' one of the guys has one, as well as in some Korean music video I happen to saw a long time ago.
1. Get a mining helmet and rename yourself DJ Black Lung
2. ???
3. Profit

when i do house parties i like to turn the lights off completely and i use my cellphone if i need to see
you must use the shwartz
It's all about the Orbital glasses:

rofl @

I use a Surefire L2, but I'm starting to think it is a bit overkill.
