At one point, I had an extra powered USB hub lying around. It also happened to fit nicely into the back of one of my CDJ flight cases, and I just plugged in a cheap USB gooseneck LED light into it. It worked reasonably well to illuminate my mixer (which basically has no lights), although the angle could have been better (glare off of the mixer front plate).

Big Al from readymix always wears a led headlamp

I have a little light on a keychain, we use candles at the club i spin every week

I have a small LED flashlight that I use for flipping through the binder. It's got 9 LEDs (I had to replace them b/c they were flaking out on me) and uses 3 AAA batteries.

Using a headlamp would be pretty interesting. While a full-blown mining/camping type might be overkill, maybe a smaller one would work. I think in the video for Hoobastank's 'The Reason' one of the guys has one, as well as in some Korean music video I happen to saw a long time ago.

that's hot! and look how happy it apparently makes you!
maybe you could fuse 2 metal rails extending to the ears and bolt some surefire l2's to each side? but then Orbital might sue us

Posted by MSZ on Jul-03-2008 05:43:

patent pending

Even the L1 would work.
