For an Angel is very over rated

Not exactly sure why this song was ever considered good, since it obviously is not. Is it just because Mr. Dyk produced it in his prime that it got a lot of attention? Maybe because of the experience people had while listening to this song in it's prime? Either way, none of these are valid excuses for the track itself being any good.

Why don't you make a thread about it?

Oh, wait. Nevermind.

one man's trash is other man's treasure

i remember when it came out and wasnt struck by it , but it grew on me and although its not my favorite i can listen to it without the urge to turn it over

PvD made lots of better stuff, back in the day...

Posted by denys envy on Jun-23-2008 17:49:

I enjoy it every now and then.

Overrated? Maybe.

Easily the most recognizable of Van Dyk's tracks? Definitely - hence why it's so popular.

Overrated, and frankly quite annoying to listen to.

is PVD's new artist album gonna be good?

Lifebreaking news

It's not even close to his best work- I can name about thirty PVD productions better than it with no trouble at all. The '98 re-release was the beginning of the end for PVD- out went the progressive trance, in came the tuneful cheddar.

I like it sometimes.

Now, someone please delete another useless thread...

You could have also left this entire topic to the thread about "For an Angel" that was recently created (i.e. moments before yours) instead of creating what is probably the 789320935959023th "For an Angel suxx0rz" thread to have been created here.

Yeah, like very "constructive and deep music discussion" on how "for an angel" sucks...

Didn't realize that I had to write an in depth composition on my oppinion of the track. Mind pointing those rules out to me somewhere? I guess I missed it while signing up for this place.

Thanks for the bump.

This is not about your depth of your opinion, (which ofcourse as you noted there is none), this is about the very subject itself that is retarted. What kind of constructive music discussion can you do about how a tune sucks? These type of threads never lead to anything constructive but to the usual TA flame-war. Want to make a serious "music discussion" thread? Start a thread on what elements you like on some tracks or not like on others (like for the "overrated for an angel") or something like that. Starting a thread about how a specific trance-hit from the 90s sucks is stupid-as-fuck seriously.

The first sentence of this post looks like it was written by a 2nd grader. Didn't read the rest. Sorry!

Ok, instead of "the depth of your opinion" i wrote, "your depth of your opinion", i made a typo. Don't worry, judging by the subject of this thread and by your current attitude, i still know better English than you.
