Info plz! Coming to TO from MTL - Hotels near Guvernment

Hi guys,

Coming from MTL, 4 of us need a hotel as close as possible to the Guv. We'll be there from Mon June 30th til Wed July 2nd. So, 2 nights. Any suggestions?

Cheers!

The Westin Harbour Castle is super close. Anything downtown is close really. Trying searching for rooms on hotwire.com You can find really good deals there.

Whoa it's like close to 600$ for 4 ppl for 2 nights?! Anything cheaper?

check out The Grand on Jarvis St.. fairly close and reasonably priced. Also the Delta Chelsea on Gerrard.

if you want to go cheap try the Days Inn on Carlton.

and if you want to go really cheap, try Fillmores or the Waverly.

Wonder which hotels Lawler, Fanciulli and Dubfire are booked at???

check out anything on Carlton (just east of Yonge). There are several places.

Guv is at the foot of Jarvis, right by the lake, and you could shoot down from Carlton/Jarvis in a cab for $10 max.

Days Hotel and Conference Centre
30 Carlton Street
Toronto, ON M5B 2E9
Phone: 416-977-6655
Fax: 416-977-2865

Best Western Primrose Hotel
111 Carlton Street,
Toronto, Ontario, M5B 2G3
Phone: 4169778000
Fax: 4169776323

This one would be even closer too:

Holiday Inn Express
TORONTO-DOWNTOWN
111 LOMBARD STREET
TORONTO, ON M5C 2T9
Front Desk: 1-416-3675555
Fax: 1-416-3673470

if you book through hotwire.com and choose 4 star you will end up at a hotel like westin, or hilton, or the sheraton for about 80 bucks a night.

I can get you a corporate rate here if you're interested ($160 per night regular):

I've stayed here before Erika and it is decent and clean and it is reasonably priced as well. It isn't too much of a cab ride either.

edit: AJ already covered this hotel in a post above

I've gotten a nice Suite there for just over $100 including taxes.

I think it might've been on priceline or maybe expedia!

Plenty of cheap hotels at 10$ away with cab. I don't think you can find anything decent under 150$, its high season.

Priceline.com, name your own price, pick a 4* room downtown and you are set.

haha. stay away from there

Although it's at least close to the after party (assuming she's going to viva @ guv)

What ever happened to Toronto being too sketchy?

Hopefully this party will change your opinion of our city. Have fun.

As much as I hate to respond to you....

They will be at Pantages, that's Charles' hotel and all artists stay there that are booked at the guv complex.

That's funny, I've known a couple to stay at King Edwards on King St.
