If you want you can check out CityPlace (Right beside Skydome, Spadina & Front Street)...there is usually lots of places to rent there and is relatively affordable

Those places are pretty expensive AFAIK, my buddy has a 1 bedroom in there for 1300 and the place is tiny! nice, but tiny. and supposedly he got a really good deal due to the owners circumstances or something...

It 'can' be expensive, but since there are so many units, and so many more units being built, that they'll get cheaper and cheaper since there is so much supply around. I think she could find a 2 bedroom for around $1,500 if you look hard enough.

Check MLS, they do have lots of nice stuff. What area do you want Barbie?

Posted by FunkyCrew on Jun-24-2008 01:10:

under 1800? lol pretty much anything and anywhere is under 1800
You can find 2 bedrooms for 1500-1600

I'm moving soon toooooooo excited!

it depends. If you want core downtown, 1800 is probably average for an average size 2 bedroom.

Especially if you want something in a bit of a newer condo/appartment that has amenities.

enticing. but only if you adopt me and we can have children.
you know how it goes.

and I want to be as close to downtown as possible
I love my buildings location but its just not worth the money and theres too much dramaaaaaa

and sashimi .. you need to move downtown

i dont care if i live in another condo thing.. just as long as its cute and not in a sketchy area

Id be moving anywhere if the place I was currently in was $1800 a month! ouch!

Posted by devnull on Jun-24-2008 17:08:

Yikes, 1800 a month for a 2 bedroom, highway robbery

I pay under 1k mortgage for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath bungalow....keep in mind not in toronto (welland)

My ex had a bachelor pad on bay for 1200 or so. Was really nice, underground parking and gym included....still expensive imo

the building manager is a bitch
1800 for a 1+Den with the weirdest problems ever isnt worth it
it took them 3 months to fix our showers, our heat didnt work until April, our air conditioning is alwayysss fucked, they wont let us switch apartments even though theres others available, we get noise complaints when no one is home etc

jazz = DRAMA
