haha mang it has nothing to do with being hardcore...in my opinion for a m_nus event an afterhours would be more suitable for the type of music that they play. but if it ends at 3 am im sure there will be an after party somewhere...either way ill be there

I feel the same way about sooo many of my fav artists dude!

I agree with you 1000000%- the vibe that music produces is defo for a 3am-9am shindig. But name me one afterhours in the city that can AFFORD to or would even care to host a M_nus party...Nobody. and that's sad. I know there's only 2 clubs in this city but y'know whatta mean.

Posted by Zinger on Jun-27-2008 18:56:

afterhours should sell drinks until 3 a.m.....then stop....club should stay open til 12.

alcohol revenue = being able to afford high dj fees....

Posted by Dj Nacht on Jun-27-2008 19:41:

If Afterhours had alcohol I would be more down for it but Im older now and going to afterhours sober is 2 hard on the body!

Posted by Fran666 on Jun-27-2008 20:53:

if afterhours sold alcohol FunKenLouis would be dead... just a joke ultimate party boy

LOL

really amazing event count me in !!!

i say afterhours should open earlier
defeats the purpose of the name but wtv call it anything
12-10 would just be sick
clubs are good the way they are, the time frame is good for chilling, but parties can get pretty hardcore in regular hours..nothing like afters tho

def. coming up from toronto for this...

newbie question: for such an afterparty...how could one get info ? would it be invite only, how to get one in case...etc.

Posted by voodoochild on Jun-28-2008 06:12:

I really wish I could make it for this one..... ah please dance for me.
torontonian me.

Posted by Zinger on Jun-28-2008 07:40:

or like some clubs in the states, where its open til 5 would be sick too, for clubs like tribe im saying. never gonna happen tho.

Posted by fullhouse on Jun-28-2008 08:29:

i actually read that there's a legal campaign attempting to lengthen club hours .. par contre ils precisent rien sur la vente d'alcool fai que jimagine que ca ca changera pas

Posted by voodoochild on Jun-28-2008 14:17:

good thread-

to those torontonians looking for an after party theres always that big park - the name slips me . there's usually drummers theres again its hippish. I am sure if you ask nicely someone will point you in the right directions.

Haha here in TO, more and more clubs are open later than 3am....then there's comfort zone...no matter what you heard about this place its all true but the clincher of the deal is that it plays some of, pardon me... it plays THE BEST music in town.... its open god knows forever and always. and then there used to be cherry beach which they authorities leveled now to build condos or some fucking thing.... i remember after clubbing we'd all end up at this patch of sand on the beach the sun beaming down, ah! bastards they sd we were having too many parties at this little patch of green grass- ....
anyways yes CoZo is where its at I've only been only about 3 X and everytime is like the music just floored me and I danced non stop for the full duration.
Teh sikest amongst us get up at 8am just to get into Cozo sometimes to see a DJ like scumfrog.
on to Stereo- i have been there once and YEs we got up at 8am and walked in with no regard to gettting a coffe or something, we were panicky when we walked in and everyone was all sweeaty, i must say tho the place was sweaty, very sexy, awesome sound, owed to the gay patronage, but politics aside I had the time of my life dancing under the big mirror ball and i prefer a bunch of gay guys around me cos then there no chance of comeone grabbing me. I can then focus on dancing. Stereo seemed like of the classier clubs in town and has amazing sound and vibe AND they playing techno on that sound system. * MUSIC to my ears *
I hope Ritchie plays his old stufF pre minimaltech as excititng as the minimal is .... he threw a party at system soundbar that became one of the three best parties i have ever had. but like i said i hope he keeps the minimal down and played that hard ass techno, be ready for a work out. ode to richie, tho happy canada day! this guy is really not to be missed.I still Envy you mofos-- i wish i could afford the trip but i will keep that memory of the BEST party with ritchie, I would love it if someone could share music of the other Djs - I love tekNo.

au revoir for now,
signed,
jealous tranceaddict- i keed of course>> you guys are in for a good working through. that's for sure. cheers to tekNO.and marc Houle... as iam sure the other DJs will not dissapoint.
