Does this make me a sadist?

There was a bug in my bathroom. First I soaked it in some water. It survived. Then I burned it with an improvised flamer (aerosol spray and lighter combo). It twitched, but survived yet again. Then I captured it under a plastic cup and left a note on it. It says "there's some bug under the cup, LET IT STARVE TO DEATH".

im sorry, but fucking LOL.

i tortured an ugly caterpillar-like thing when i was a kid. i felt pretty bad about it and never did anything like it again. by all means kill bugs (i fucking hate them) if theyre pissing you off but you should never torture another living creature.

I know, I could never do it to any other living creature, especially if it can feel pain.
But bugs are a different story. They disgust me and they can't feel pain anyway.

You have a source on that? It seems completely illogical for any lifeform to not feel pain, especially one as evolved as insects are. Natural selection would've wiped them out eons ago.
