Silent Hill : Homecoming
One of the best and scariest games I have ever played was Silent Hill on the original PS. Made me scared of fog in general, and man, that radio gave me the chills. Sixth game in the series soon to come out titled Homecoming. Screens and more news on Joystiq, and they look really good. Wasn't too impressed with 'The Room' and hopefully they ve enhanced combat in this game as well.

bleh
The game looks ugly as shit, and seeing as the studio making the game has never worked on anything original, making cash-in games for major movie releases, I can only assume they will be copying things from the previous 4 in the series.
Not to mention the main character is trained in assault rifles, RPGs and the lot of what the military trains its soldiers in. GTA Silent Hill?
Textures look terrible...like a step=back from Silent Hill 2
Can't say I really trust the developers of "Mark Ecko's Getting Up" with Silent Hill... graphics look awful and a step back from SH3, which is a shame since Silent Hill 3 is one of the best looking PS2 games.
I haven't played a Silent Hill since the very original (which was scary as hell). I hear Silent Hill 2 was even scarier. Since those two, however, I feel the series has lost most of its popularity and hasn't really garnered any new praise.
maybe the game is just weallllly weally eawey in dewelopment.
but truth be told ive never ever played a silent hill. Ive always gotten my survival horror fix from resident evil and parasite eve 2 way back in the day
