Sad Encounter...
A few days ago, I met this girl on an airplane. She is 17. She reminded me of me at that age. Not in looks but because she was from a part of the world that was not corrupt and not sullied...so still so naive, innocent...
She was on the airplane for her first time...she had flown for 15 hours to meet her boyfriend. He was 23. They had been "together" for 5 years.
5 years ago, he was 18 and she was 12? My jaw dropped.
Ick.
Anyway, she had flown 15 hours and he didn't show up at the airport. When I met her, she is returning home so hurt, afraid, worried...
I just feel so sad for her. :/
Does it make me a bad person if part of me laughed?
When was the last time she seen him?
I don't think she had met him. I think she was flying to meet him and live with him. And he didn't come to the airport...
So they've been cybering five years?

It's kinda sad. But for what quite possibly is a first relationship (the whole 5 years thing) that's quite a bit of a commitment. Flying 15 hours...
Sucks, but I would think it's better this way. Too bad for loss of innocence.
