Whatever happened to Perry O'Neil???

I was thinking about this a lot since last year as he only had a couple of releases in 2007. So far hes been silent in 08 and i searched for him everywhere. He was one of my favorite artists and DJs and saw him everytime he came to the big city. Does anyone know anything or heard anything about him??? IMO he is one of the most talented artists out there. I really hope hes just takin a break for a while. This is a cool video and the track hes playing is one of my favorites - its a mainstay in the record case.

What he's doing now sounds like what everyone else is doing. Sucks, because he sounded so original.

everything this guy touches is golden. I love every track he has ever produced. Obsessed much? haha Nice down to earth dood too from the little I've ever spoken with him.

I liked his older stuff and I used to listen to his radio show. Not digging this new style.

both tracks in that release are bombs. "Got that M" is huge too.

Carbage, his remix of The Detroit Track, and of course Got that M

I forget the name of it, but the track he did with Ozgur can is sick as well.

I think last year's Rebel gig must have been one of his last shows as "Perry O'neil," and even then he had scrapped almost all the trance out of his set.

"Wave Force" will always have a special place in my heart though.

+1 on that

Heard him open for Sander K at WMC this year and he was nasty. Shows alot of talent and diversity in his productions.

has anyone seen a trance set from him?

i thought he was caca.

he totally screwed up while dj'ing. the left side of the civic center in San Fran was cut off. he realized late in the set. [imagine roseland with sound coming from only the right side. Civic Center is just a lil bigger iirc.]

He did end with wave force. That was worth it.
