my brother was due to start his contract in alberta, but they decided to give him monday off so now he's not starting until wednesday. Bless canada, eh.

yeah, it's a hard job to be tough on extra hours too, like my brother & his workmate both negotiated triple time + lieu hours to work the easter 4 day weekend this year. He brought home a nice wage for once and they got their work done, but obviously a chemist isn't in the same position as a nurse

At least you get time off. At my old job, my boss got into the bad habit of canceling the day off (not in the middle of the week mind you, but saturday or sunday) i arranged to have free a month or two in advance, a day or two before the promised day off.

So one time i fucking lost it. i was already working 14 hours a dayy 20 days straight and was looking forward to a saturday and sunday off. It was supposed to be my first time to see Tiesto spin so i was quite hyped, then on thursday i get a call that i need to work saturday anyway and if i dont like it i can always find another job. I promplty told him to go fuck himself, went to see tiesto anyway, got piss drunk, came home, took a whower then went to work still barely able to walk and fell asleep there. I wasnt fired, but i actually got the days off that i asked for after that

At work, zipped with no traffic, that was great.

Tomorow is a holiday? for what? Canada is not a real country anyways because Southpark said it

I have to go into work for 5 hours this evening

The REAL TREAT is that we can wear jeans as long as our shirt is red or white


tomorrow - sleeping in, family bbq, then fireworks and beach party at night

I been off since friday morning and intend to be till the 22nd of september


yeah for soma holiday ( being back in school has it's perks )
