Later this week (thursday i think) i am flying to LA for 2 weeks to stay with my grandma and take care of her from when she wakes up to when she goes to sleep. My grandpa recently passed away and, since shes a little senile, she needs someone around and that's me.
Lately, I've been living in my new apartment where I have yet to hook up internet so I am on & off now, but I will be able to check a couple of times before I go and when i get there.
Basically, i don't expect these two weeks to be thrilling as I will have no transportation and will be stuck to the LaVerne area (near san dimas) all of the time. I can, however, go out after she goes to sleep. I figure this might be an opportunity to meet some LATAs or other locals who might want to hang out for a bit and get some in&out burgers... also, if you don't mind hanging around my grandma, i'll be hanging around her place during most of the day with my laptop & serch.

I just got dropped off at my grandma's house by a 70's vw van...
i found some new friends at the movies! i was sitting outside bummed that everyone looked preppy and was considering asking some foreigners where i could get weed when it drove by... i saw in the driver seat a dude obv in his 20's in a button down with the sleeves ripped off...
followed that shit to its parking place, from which i heard bubbling (srsly) and knocked. hilarity ensued.
plus, the movie is pretty good.
