Made Event presents one of the most consistent and globally acclaimed DJs, Lee Burridge, performing at Cielo NYC on Friday, July 4th, 2008.

In a congested arena of DJs vying for recognition and attention, Lee Burridge is an anomaly. In a career that spans over two decades, Lee is the definition of an iron man. Constantly on the move, he has played internationally including landmark festivals such as Love Parade, Creamfields, Coachella and others. He is known for his hard house techno inspired sets and this year�s Cielo performance will be no different.
In 2005 Burridge started what is known as project �365� which provided him with bi-monthly residencies in seven different cities around the world (New York, Ibiza, Buenos Aires, Sydney, Denver & Hong Kong). The purpose; for him to build a solid relationship with his audiences and to expand the impact an international DJ can have within an individual market. Now, three years after, Lee is teaming up with local producers in each of those cities to work in the studio and release what are surely destined to be dancefloor hits.

With his �Lovelee� parties going strong on the opposite coast, Lee�s crowd appeal is growing at a rapid pace. Most recently, his contribution to the dance music compilation �Balance Series� (Balance 012) has gained much praise and continues to win over new fans. The mix is Burridge's first solo compilation since 2003's '24:7', the three discs present a tidy snapshot of the current state of house and techno. It ranges from deep house to intricate minimal to more pumping techno, culminating in a deep, beautiful, dark, trippy and wobbly soundtrack. Featuring a wide array of cutting edge artists including Martin Buttrich, Dennis Ferrer, Alexi Delano, Gabriel Ananda and more. Lee finds himself on a promotional tour that will land him at Cielo NYC on our country�s Independence Day. This is one not to be missed!

Pretty excited to check out Cielo... it is the one club in NYC that I have been really curious to check out.

for those who went.. you know what you heard, the guy was fucking madness! Definitely the highlight of the night was Total Departure being worked up with the set he was building most of the night.. good times! i heart Cielo

I had a really good time.

The music was awesome and Cielo has a great little setup. The crowd was just the right size and the tempurature was perfect.

Such a banging set by Lee. Was a thousand times better than his Halloween performance at Shelter. Church of Nonsense and that Paul Ritch remix of Shonky absolutely destroyed the place.

Burridge killed it!! at least for the time I was there. Had to leave at 3. So many tracks I want ID'd . Early on he dropped a good few tracks I'd already heard him spin at DEMF, but after the warm up it was almost non-stop bombs IMO. I really hope his set shows up online for download at some point. Will try and post a few vids later on in hopes of getting some IDs

if i could just get this one track ID from burridge's set on saturday, i think i could die a happy man.

it dropped around 1:30 or 2.. and it had this absolutely ridiculous horn breakdown.. very very distinctive and original sounding; if you heard it, you probably know what im talking about..

please share any info if anyone knows!
