Remember when you were a teen noob?
What was it like for you? I was such a sensitive, angsty bitch as a teenager, haha. Now I'm on the other end of the spectrum: unfeeling and cold. =|
I remember how I would think that I was smarter than everybody and all my ideas were original and amazing. When I was 14, I thought I would immediately become an adult at 18 and everything would change drastically. Wow, was I wrong.
When I was a teen, I'd always think "Yeah, right" when adults would tell me "When you're older, you'll realize I'm right." I never believed them. Well, shit... they were right.
We all do retarded shit and refuse to listen to adults in our teenage years, then we tell the younger generation not do retarded shit and to listen to us in our older years. Rinse, lather, repeat for infinity.
I do.
o.o k
i dont remember that far. all i noe is this problem started wen i was 14
I was never a teenager, because I was never "born".
Chuck Norris and I simply appeared one day, fully hairy and hung like donkeys.

I was about the same, only more of an asshole and with less of a work ethic. I honestly don't feel I've matured all too much, and I certainly don't look like I have.
i was going to be a famous dj.

I hope I will be a good role model to my cousin and hope he asks me for guidance when he grows up

im still sensitive, i still think im smarter than most people and ive always listened to adults if they had something worthwhile to say.
and i still laugh at farts. maybe ill change in september when i reach 30? ha!
I look at most teenagers now and think, jesus they have no fucking clue... was I really like that too? I'm a completely different person now compared to 22. At 22 I was a lot different than 18. At 18 a lot different than 14. I guess once you pass 26 or so, the significant differences don't come so rapidly. If I met the 18 or 22 year old version of me now, I'd want to beat his ass.
I was an angsty immature little brat. I wish I could go back in time and punch my 15 year old self in the throat.

Oh lord, you couldn't pay me to go through all that drama and BS again! My oldest step daughter will turn 12 soon, and I know what lies ahead of her. I wish I could just pull her aside, sit her down, and explain to her that the next few years will be some of the most trying of her life, but without a common frame of reference, she won't grasp it. She will have to experience all these things for herself and learn from her own trials.
