Total Departure 2008's track of the YEAR?
Bomb? Forgettable? Gimmick?
Who's over it and who's not?
And Perc - Up was the track of 2007, right?
yes. no. kinda.
its mouth to mouth version 2.
i think the gimmick here is the siren. the foghorn is also popular now (hugo - the sloop)
theres a whole sub genre of minimal/tech i think this falls under, characteristics include: simple, peak time, and must have a note that scales up, or just has a high note. we could use this thread to list others that are like it.
church of nonsense

Uhhhhhh.
It's a good tune.
But:
A) 2008 isn't over.
B) Ya wtf 2008 isn't over.
C) Track of the year threads suck dong.
Never played it or cared to hear it. Much better music out there.
cirez d mix is definately one of the tunes of the year for me
oozes fucking techno
Don't particularly like it and wouldn't play it, but could still see myself raving my tits off to it at some point or another given the right conditions.

Track of the year. No Way. Its only good if used properly.
cirez d mix is bomb but i guess im gonna get sick of it pretty fast. would love to have it on vinyl for classic-tracks pre-partyes in 5 years time.

Cirez D remix is awesome.
A psychotic, frantic builder that never quite reaches a 'climax,' but is just as satisfying despite this.
Certainly not toty material, but certainly one of the most intense moments of 2008 thus far.

Good track..... I wouldnt call it the track of the year though.
Never even heard of it 'til now, actually.
-meh.
I heard Digweed drop it live. Didn't do anything for me live. The buildup is way too long, it almost drags on for 3-4 mintues.
Well, we love the original in India...
But in the same space I prefer James Harcourt - Call & Response and Rino Cerrone/Joseph Capriati - Spider Pork
