You saw him @ Vanguard last time right? But they didn't put him in the main room from what I remember.

yea giant put his ass in the backroom at vanguard last time he was out, in favor of kaskade or some shit in the main room. I saw him at Avalon in 06 or 07. Completly mind fucked me for about 3 hrs

Ha I saw him in NY a week after that Vanguard gig and we talked about that travesty. I think I was more pissed off about it than he was. I was, of course, shitfaced.

That Avalon night was sooo fuckin' good. Until they just dropped the damn curtain on him and started AHP.

Oh and Lavelle was terrible too. But I do remember him playing two good songs - the Alex Dolby remix of Hazy Way and some other track. And then he played that fucking shitty Killers song.

But yeah, long story short, Holden tore that fucking place a new space hole, alright.

That sounds about right, but I didn't stick around to find out.

I think some time in August would be a good time to bring James Holden to Vanguard for the main room, preferrably with someone like Behrouz in either the slot before him or closing.

That night at Avalon is one of my all time favorite nights!!! SO AMAZING!!!! I remember a lot of the OG TA's were there.

Next time he comes to LA or SD, I'm cancelling everything just to go check him out!!!!

I'll look into why he hasn't been out hear for a while since he's one of my favs too and damn it I want to see him again. I believe he's been djing less while working on other projects. I know he generally plays for us when he is here.
Here's a question. We would probably have to team him with another headliner. Don't know if James has the solo pull so much anymore. Who would you like to see him teamed with? Be reasonable though.

Teamed up with Fairmont, Petter or Ricardo Tobar...

Or anyone else on the BC label.
