Lee Burridge @ GUV this Saturday!!!

Anybody else checking out Lee Burridge at GUV this saturday???

Im interested in seeing him...ive never seen him live before but from what I hear hes a pretty good dj and an eclectic one at that which is something that I always like. He plays everything from tech-house to breaks to prog to trance to basically anything and everything!!!

I do have a slight feeling tho that his music might just go over he heads of some people there...!!!

hmmmmm I guess only time will tell...

?

Hmm, I've checked out his NuBreed compilation, and it's not that bad at all... but then again, I've never heard him live, and if I've got nothing better to do, I might actually check him out.

another boring progressive house night at guv? no thanks

Posted by Lexicon on May-22-2002 14:17:

Progressive house??
Nah... there's more to what Burridge spins.
If you are open enough to embrace different musical styles, you'll witness one of the best djs (imo) in action.
Varying genres from breakbeat to tech-house to prog house even trance, this is what Burridge is capable of.

His solo CD, 'Metropolis' beats his Nubreed out of the water. Nothing short of a brilliant CD.
His Cds 'Tyrant 1' & 'Tyrant 2' with Craig Richards are superbly outstanding.

lexicon, if he was at any other club, i'd go in a sec...

Posted by Lexicon on May-22-2002 18:02:

yeah I quite understand the beef with the Guv crowd. I already missed him twice and regretted it terribly, so in regardless of which venue, I'll still get my ass for this one.

It is about the music, isn't it?

cheers,
Aaron

basically, yes... but when it involves spending 6 hours in a sweat pit, surrounded by the wrong crowd, well...
