Why is that stupid straight eighth-note Deadmau5 pattern so popular with talentless producers?

Is it because it takes all the guesswork out of how to draw in the notes in the sequencer? Just put down an eighth note and copy ad infinitum?

I wonder if this is a problem on Beatport's end rather than plagiarism on the part of the artists.

If not...what the heck is wrong with people?!

I want to see some kind of concerted backlash against all this unoriginal filth.
