Initial groove of the percussion is great.
The gated synth is a Vanguard preset, please change it ... nothing against presets but I hear the vanguard gated synths so often.
The high white noise thats supposed to be your hat behaves a little weird, I think it needs a little more work.

Your sounds seem to be a little too dominant in the low mids, that takes away some energy from the kick/perc/bass fundament, maybe thats just the web player on that site, I dont know.

However the breakdown is really well done, top notch atmospheric stuff, and great use of vocals!

Great track with a lot of good ideas, now I would only look at the details I mentioned. Keep it up.

thanks that was just what I needed to hear.

I kind of had those thoughts already and I'm glad you backed it up.

I will go back and take a look at that eq. I am thinking of buying a stand alone yamaha mixing board instead of the mixer that cubase comes with.

I hear ya on the vanguard.. its sucks cause we all use the same vst's and i am sure that one is overplayed but I won't use it again in the future. I have tons more vanguard packs that I havn't even looked at yet. but I love me a gated synth.

I also plan on buying a new and better mic to get more range out of the vocals. I am using a shure 58 right now and I think if I invest in something a little more professional I can get a clearer vocal.
