how would i get into promoting? what exactly do u have do? do u get paid? just give me some info on it please i would appreciate it....thx

You have to know people who promote... that's the bottom line. If you get tight with the people who own the promotion companies, and you can get a ton of people to an event, you'll get a job. I pay my promoters, but not every company does...

you have to start from the bottom and work ur way up.

ben thompson (who is the head promoter of gatecrasher) started handing flyers out for GC... hes made his way to the top now

and when u get to the top, the money is very very good

not only the money..think about free entrances to parties, discounts at stores, inside info etc.

a friend of mine started promoting for ID&T when they were still a relatively small company. He also handed out flyers, but he got into each and every ID&T event for free and discounts on nearby hotels and he hangs out with Holland's top producers (he's mainly into gabber so he hangs around with mostly gabber producers )

Seems like a cool job

In spain and other popular vacationspots they have ppl called 'proppers' they go into town at night and during the day and hand out flyers and talk ppl into coming to "their" club...
they're living the fast lane! drugs, booze, women/men (or both whehe), attention, money etc etc....
