ID Contest 69 - Tit for tat.

sup.

The TranceAddict ID Contest returns with a fresh selection of club bangers, old classics and mindbogglers. I've tried to include a bit of everything, but a large portion of it is trance.

70 samples @ 15 seconds each.

The rules are simple:

Listen to the samples and identify the tracks.

1 point for Artist
1 point for Title
3 points for Artist AND Title (AND Remix where applicable)

Send your answers in a Private Message. Don't post any answers in this thread.

You may request hints on 2 samples of your choice.

Contest ends on July 27, 23:59 GMT+1. The winner hosts the next contest.

First batch of hints:

01. the biggest d'n'b track last year. the artist is a cat animal, and the title refers to a style of music that was popular in the 70's and 80's.

06. this guy is from an island in the east. the title refers to an uprising in a large african city.

10. i actually can't believe this hasn't been id'ed yet. the real name of the artist is (roughly):

where christians go if they've been naughty
+
a place where many of the world's largest hotels and casinos are located.

(combine those two)

and the remixer is a german dude who looks goofy in a lot of pictures.

21. not much to say here really... it's a joke song by a grime crew that got popular. the track is about a chicken restaurant in east london.

29. the remix is by a queer-looking fellow who ishkur really dislikes. the original artist is a chick who won't be getting any christmas presents this year, judging by the title.

35. artist: container with a mineral. the track is about something that appears in the water.

50. the artist's last name is german and translates to 'mirror'. the track is from 99.

51. made by a former member of a well-known detroit collective. apparently he wants to annihilate the listener with sound.

55. if you're bipolar, you're gonna want some of this.

60. 1997. martial arts themed track. this was later remixed by a norwegian d'n'b producer.

61. the artist name refers to dark and light, or any two opposing but complementary things, in chinese philosophy. the track title can be heard in the clip.

66. samples the theme song to the third in a series of sneak'em'up/stealth games. if you google that + the genre of this track, you're sure to find it.

68. a protege of john digweed in the early 00's. he apparently joined the army and hasn't been around lately.
