Connecting ADSL Modem/Router with Wireless Router
I have an ADSL Modem/Router that I want to connect to my Netgear wireless router. It doesn't work if I simply connect the OUT from the ADSL Modem to the IN of my Wireless Router and then configure it using the setup wizard.
Is there anything else that I need to do ?
if it's ADSL, then it's almost certainly authenticating inside PPPoE... did you place the username/password for your service into the router?
[more] the PPPoE info should be inside the modem/router... ideally you should turn off the "router" mode of the modem, and just operating it as an ethernet bridge (most but not necessarily all such modem/routers have the ability to do this... usually called something like "bridge mode" / "1483 bridging" / "bridging").
