lol I saw pics of CP and there were LITERALLY 60,000 people there. It was an awesome sight to see, but I am sure it was a nightmare for the people in the crowd (think Armin playing at Love).

^^thats why I BOUGHT tickets for my own damn seat. And they are good seats, too!

i saw an ad for that in the subway and i can't believe i missed the free concert. at least to hear Livin' on a Prayer from the man himself.

(clears throat)

"Whooah, we're half way there
Livin' on a prayer
Take my hand and we'll make it - I swear
Livin' on a prayer"

still got it.

wow. Last night was the BEST concert I have ever been to in my LIFE!! I went *expecting* the usual "bar anthems" and what I got was such a wide spectrum of music that it just blew me away. Sooo not what I expected to hear at ALL!! <3 <3

I have always been a HUGE fan of bon jovi, but not until I saw them live, and incorporating songs that people dont typically hear, that I realized just how talented this band really is.

Jon Bon Jovi told the crowd that it was their 25th anniversary to DATE in which they first played in MSG, and thus a special night for them in which they busted out the extra toonage that you might not typically expect (along side the usual "bed of Roses" "living on a prayer", etc etc)....... There is a reason they have maintained such longevity (not to mention SOLD out crowds and a diversity and multi-generational scope of fans....)

Emotional rollercoaster of rocking out, tearing up, floods of ol skool memories, and truly enjoying ourselves. Left with friends and headed to the Local rooftop bar with other fans, in which the ONLY conversation was how blown away we were. The sound was perfect, the crowd was emotional and CRAZZZZY at times, and the band was just perfect. Just as if I was listening to "Slippery When Wet" on my CASSETTE tapes back at home in middle school! BWAHAHAHA!!!

just a sick, sick night that kinda brought me back home and to my roots again, if only for a night.

<3<3<3 <3

(and HOLY RICHIE SAMBORA ON THE GUITAR SOLOS!!!!!! wtf I had no concept of how fucking good this man is/was!!!)

there's def nothing like some good hard rock in between all the edm sometimes..I personally get the occasional craving for linkin park, filter, sevendust, perfect circle, nin etc.. bon jovi's good, no doubt about that, they play him in clubs everywhere among club songs even. I thought that was just a ny habit to drop his songs in between club music but even in greece, livin on a prayer was dropped in the middle of songs like world hold on by bob sinclair, and suddenly every female on the floor was backing up jon bon on the vocals..if I have to choose old skool rock though, def leppard's more up my alley..pour some sugar on me!
