Will check this out sometime.

farell any good?

not a big fan of his but i gotta admit, he delivered in miami vice

Posted by lacksesepsotygh on Jul-14-2008 22:17:

yes, he even upset a family of fatties and sinned in church.

Posted by Jackson on Jul-14-2008 22:33:

and the canadians too!

Its a strange film...not what you expect. You're left thinking "That was odd...did i like it?"...it slowly grows on you in the days following the movie.

that was the LEAST funniest thing about the fucking movie.

i hate cheesy humour like that, so stupid, belongs in american pie or some lame austin powers flick.

the rest of in bruges was brilliant.

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Jul-15-2008 02:22:

the only reason why i backed off this movie when i saw the previews last year can be explained in 2 words : "colin farell". i do not like any of his movies, no matter what. although the previews do look very entertaining, i may go catch this movie on a random day sometime. the story plot looks good, but i am just not a colin farell fan.

Posted by Cloudburst on Jul-15-2008 05:50:

How can you not like colin farell? He's a great actor imo.

I gotta say, made me fall in love with Bruges. Its like a fairytale city ( the alcoves in the park especially )

Posted by Pjotr G on Sep-21-2008 12:04:

one of my favourite movies

lovely politically incorrect (I lol'd when he karate chopped the midget) and it's about people with problems. Who doesn't have problems? They make things interesting.

The alcoves, you know this word, yes?

Just finished it - loved this film.

"Stop hitting the phone, it's a fuckin' inanimate object."

"YOU'RE A FUCKIN' INANIMATE OBJECT!"

Good flick. I'd give it a 7.5/10.

It's a British movie, no? Oddity comes with the territory, especially if you're used very much to Hollywood stuff.

Excellent, darkly poignant and hopeless movie. Spoiler: (I did not like much the part at the end where they show Ken all bloody)

/heet the Canadian

Fucking LOVED this movie

"Huh? You two are weird.... would you like some cocaine?"
Mate pops up behind him gurning.

LOL!

Posted by Tranceporter99 on Jan-08-2009 00:25:

I didn't like this initially. I want to re-watch it though. Sometimes movies need a second look from me.

Posted by josh rising on Jan-08-2009 01:38:

i didn't like this film at all. it seemed so forced and it really just dragged on, and the humor was just... unoriginal. nothing stood out. which is a bummer cos i really like colin farrell, i LOVE british films and i love belgium too. so i was surprised when it turned out as shitty as it was.

Posted by TranceOwnsLol on Jan-08-2009 02:16:

The movie was alright but I LOVE Bruges though! Just went there last summer. It just feels like a modern/classical European city that you envision one to be.

Posted by Mebot on Jan-08-2009 02:21:

I need to stop listening to people who tell me not to watch things... because obviously they have no clue about a spectacular film like In Bruges.

Totally loved and kind of upset I didn't go see it in the theater when it came out ( I feel the same way about Danny Boyle's Sunshine)

Is Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson both nominated in the Golden Globes this year for In Bruges? I feel like I saw that somewhere and now I'm not sure....
