Smiling Frog Old Tranceaddict

Once upon a time TA was illegal

If you were looking for the latest mp3's especially in the trance genre TA was one of many.

Kinda funny when i look back at it now. Nowadays, as soon someone asks in a thread where he/she can get that particular song everyone goes climbing trees, linking to the rules section in size 48 fonts, yes i know the rules btw. I've always connected TA with the forum, never visited the mainsite for years. Ok i tried with the cellphone but using TA with it was an unpleasant experience. Today TA is a very respectable forum and always was, can't live without it!

Cheers!

I seem to remember Armin van Buuren got his panties in a wad back in like late 2002 / early 2003 around the time that his album 76 came out, somethinbg like TA had posted some singles that were off that CD before its release or something... that was like the end of the MP3s on the site LOL...

This is a badass site tho. I keep coming back

hehe, yes we have TA, one of the largest international electronic music sites on the internet where the largest international producers and DJ's never post anything...

But yes, Swampy should be very, deeply ashamed of those couple of dozen singles and mixes put up, because of them it probably forced me to spend several thousand dollars on full length CD's, EP's and MP3's over the last 8 years

Absolutely shameful

I agree. If Swamper hadn't been such criminal, I'd be a few thousand dollars richer. Maybe in grad school or something, too.

There are reasons for laws.

^No joke, tho I've been into electronica in general since the early / mid 90's, this site did open my eyes and those liveset DL's and singles kept me current

It has def been a long time coming.
