Posted by nefardec on Jul-17-2008 21:21:

and it's really not that hard to dance to it either way.

You stomp and sway around in an awkward fashion, sort of a blend between the movements of a far-gone drunk and a robot, while making faces and babbling incoherently.

Ketamine can aid you in this task.

D ramirez lol.

The only thing I'd be reaching for is the stop button. What a shit song.

i just had to pause my Nor Elle CD so i could watch that video, and it was totally worth it.

after DEMF i realized i enjoy dancing to minimal (preferably funky Konrad Black minimal <3) much more than anything else. there's still a beat but it's not this in-your-face overpowering music, so you're able to just groove to it however you please. it's weird. it sounds totally cliche, but i didn't really get it until i experienced it.

Its all about the subtleties.

I was at the above party and he fucking destroyed it. Also this is mostly less minimal and more on the tech side of stuff imo, though it does all have that stripped down aesthetic.

Konrad just plays mind-fuck music.

Also, this music really requires a good sound system to get the best effect. Though I suppose that goes for all EDM.

Tried to get into minimal, but no dice.

thats how i feel about dub techno. it just creates a space, an atmosphere and a basic framework for freedom

Posted by Zayatz on Jul-18-2008 05:24:

not exactly minimal but papa Sven gives you an idea ...

minimale techno is way more better dancing material than 'oh not another breakdown please my hands are already tired' trance

but yeah, d.ramirez is an hilarious example...
