Korean air

I might book a flight through Korean Air, but I have never taken this airline before. How is it? I get so nervous taking a new airline.

I lost 2 close friends to that airline...

DON'T DO IT!!!

Seriously, at work... whenever we hear a nightmare story in reference to a flight in Asia, the response is "was it Korean Air?" "Yep" *groan*.

Sorry I edited it for the two friends person.

You work for a travel company? I could save $1000 if I took Korean Air, but it is a 26 hour flight. If it is that bad I don't want to be stuck.

My mom's coworker died while flying Korean Air Lines Flight 007 in 1983, the one that was shot down by commie Russia. She switched flights at the last second to this flight to save money

Watch this video before you go ahead with them.

LOL... wow I'm surprised at the postings. I've flown Korean Air 4 times in the past 2 years from Atlanta to Seoul. Best international service I've ever had, next to Malaysian Air... the girls are all really nice, look much more professional than the hags on U.S. airlines, and are super attentive. They're all tall too; it's weird seeing tall Korean chicks. Do it!

I booked with Qantas, AA and Air Pacific (never taken them, but it is just one part of the flight). Was the same price.

Thanks!

QANTAS ftw. I've never, ever been disappointed.

That's because 100% of male flight attendants on Quaint-as are gay.

Where did you book?

For best results, fly Singapore Air.

I've flown Korean Air for my 4 trips to Korea, never any problems.

All i have to say is that Korean Air has the most beautiful korean women (stewardesses) on the entire planet!!!!! *drool*

Qantas suck the sweat off a monkey's balls. If their international is anything like their domestic I'd rather flap. I've never even been tempted to try a long-haul flight with them, especially when Singapore are usually cheaper.

About my only complaint with Quantas is the food I think could only be described as 'lukewarm boarding school meals' and that would be generous.

But for a real flying experience I don't think anything beats Aeroflot for sheer terror (except for one time I personally broke a Cessna in a paddock )

lol. my friend told me last night that thomas cook (one of the big '2' here) have changed the meal selection upon booking and the default is now the vegetarian option. She smirked at all the people who probably didn't bother to check it wasn't the normal meal and end up being fed tofu on the plane

And despite that you are still several thousand times more likely to be killed driving to the airport than you are onboard.

Our office is located near ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) and there's a man in front protesting against Korean Airlines since last week.

Something about their pilots being unqualified, etc.
