Drunk [REVIEW] Moo B & Khal, Tom Colontonio, John O'Callaghan @ Transit Club PA

Wow... my ears are ringing! Transit Club had some mean speakers/sound system... I couldn't even hear myself miss all the notes to certain lyrics. Everyone's set was on point. Moo B & Khal, great opening set... post some ID's? I could only figure out like three tracks. First time at a party in Phili and I had a good time, despite the swamp-like temperature. great times. hot as all hell but sometimes it's good to get sweaty when you're werkin it out

Really hot in there, but an absolutely awesome night. Satellite really was unexpected and really brought the house down...from then on the energy level was maxed out. Definitely nice meeting some of the people. I decided that I need to start doing the TA thing again cuz even though I spend most of my time on the Trance.nu forums, there aren't enough T.nu users around in the US. Anyway, was surely nice to meet everyone I met and I had a good time helping with the tracklist. If it hadn't been so damn loud we could have chatted it up a bit more. My ears are still fucked.

Also, it was the Tom Colontonio Remix of Seven Cities that Tom played, not Solarcoaster. And I think it was Simon Patterson-Smack...not Bulldozer.

Haha... yeah you're right about the solarstone track... but i'm pretty sure it was bulldozer, not smack.

Yeah...now that I think about it, it was Bulldozer. They both kinda follow the same formula and I was also very drunk, so plz forgive me. Hahaha.

Thanks so much to the huge showing from NYC!

Amazing night... great times...

Sorry about the hot weather in there, that problem is being addressed.

Tommy & JOC absolutely killed it... great sets from both...

I had such a good time opening up, one of the funnest sets ever.

Pics will be up shortly on GotchaBitchez.com

Tracks i played last night in no particular order (i'll post khal's as well when i see him):

Mark Knight & Adam K - From the Speaker
Tikaro - Shine on Me (Deux mix)
Tattoo Detectives - il salto fuori (crazy mix)
NOP - Cubic Loop (D-Nox & Beckers mix)
John Dahlback - Pyramid (Original Mix)
Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar (Dabruck & Klein Mix)
Funkagenda - WTF
D Ramirez & Dirty South - Shield
Patric La Funk - Icicle (Nice7 Mix)
Alex Kenji - So Sexy (Sara Galli Mix)
D-Unity - Rhythm District
X-Press 2 - Smoke Machine (James Talk Mix)

I think thats all of them... also one of JOC's tracks you couldn't ID was Gianluca Motta - Not Alone (Deadmau5 Remix), it was the 5th or 6th track in, really good track!

Awesome time out....I have been shifting more towards house lately but couldn't miss an opportunity like this. Getting events in Philly is fairly rare, so I had to get out there. Last night assured me that trance is stil alive and kicking ass.

Caught most of Tom's set - great stuff, and O'Callaghan just tore it up with energy start to finish. Got a little bit of my house fix with Deep Nights crew in the basement and they didn't disappoint. Music was great all around.

I loved the setup at Transit despite the heat and the fact that I couldn't walk around with a drink beyond the bar area. Keep the events at that venue coming. Side note for Mahmoud - do they still do events at Black Bull Lounge?

Great seeing everyone out - TA's were prominent. Thanks to Heather for continuing to introduce me to the faces behind the names...Glad to meet Victor Dinaire, Uncle Ed and a couple more.

Good seeing Tom, Big Mike, Kelly, Wai and everyone else again. Embarrassing moment of the night was when Kelly caught me singing along to New York City but hey I've had worse.

Hope you all had fun and can't wait til the next opportunity to party with you again.

amazing night from what I remember lol but it just went too quickly... afterparty at ed's with all the usual suspects from the club was fun also... all in all a good vacation!

facebook pics: (lol some had to be omitted in the public eye.....shenanigans!!) http://www.facebook.com/album.php?a...72d&id=10911624

Awesome weekend Have to thank Ed, he was such an amazing host and made everything perfect for us! <3 Edbiza is not a myth!! (and to our "housemates" gina and keith, you guys are rockstars and it was a pleasure chilling with the both of you. many many afterhour laughs <3)

Transit was awesome. perfect music the whole time, I didnt have a single complaint with any of the DJ's! my ONLY complaint was the heat. FFS we were standing around drinking 90% of the time so I shouldnt be running into people drenched with sweat. sooo gross in there. my hair was frizz after 5 minutes.

Love da philly peeps, always a good time when they are around. you guys party hard and I consumed an insane amount of alcohol (and stayed up wayyy past my bed time! lol) In terms of the alcohol I stake no claim into any of my actions/thoughts/words after approximately midnight.

I have enough hilarious quotes to write a book but my fav has to be when drunkity Mike got on the mic at Transit and keeps yelling: "NEW Yorkkkk!!!! New York how you feelin!!" (crowd is silent cuz we in PHILLY fool!!)

Sam: omg you and that light ball!! cracky moment was at all hours of the morning and seeing a LINEUP of people, standing in a row, staring at the big screen, watch TIESTOR!!!! WHAT!!! I knew it was time for bed at that sight!
