Awakening Review

It was a long trek out to the Hudson but we made it! It was my first time to that venue and I wasn't disappointed at all. The lines to get in were HORRIBLE though. There were two separate lines and they didn't clearly state what the difference was, so people were jumping lines and cutting.

Once inside, I realized why people rave about the setup of the place. It was quite creative w/ all the different dancing levels, etc.

We paved our way to the main room and found our friends by chance. Woohoo... time to party! The opening DJ was just okay but when J00F came on, he tore the place up. The room began filling up w/ a ton of people and even though the energy level was up, the temperature was too. I think it was like 90-100 degrees in there! A total sauna.

When Infected came on, the whole place got even more crowded. I don't know the tune names of Infected's songs but I know for certain they played their hits, which were awesome. The whole time they were on and I didn't want them to leave. Actually, I didn't want J00F to leave either but he has to get to Vanguard to play.

Infected got on probably around 1am, and ended it shortly before 3am. People were loving it and we all wished they stayed longer. Paul Ahi came on afterwards and the place cleared out. That's when we left as well...

Definitely a pretty good night for music and being around friends. I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat, just hoping it won't be so far.

Yeah the venue is fucking great it just sucks that it's far drive especially with the traffic on the 10 all the time.

yeh vixy it was a really fun night i should have looked for you. i was lucky enough to get insomniac vip and kick it backstage so i had a blast i wish j00f played longer

We should definitely have a TA meet up next time! The Hudson was majorly packed for Awakening. Definitely way more than Dance Sensation, I heard.

Been trying to do that (recall: EDC).. TA meet up is just too hard on massive
