Hello everyone,

I wanted to know if there are any fashion labels that appeal only to the EDM scene. If you can please provide the names of these companies, that would be great

What my point is that certain clothing lines go after a specific music industry. Phat Farm and HipHop. What does House, Trance have its fashion labels? Do they exist?

Not specifically targeted at dance music, but Drunknmunky have got a lot of stuff that's orientated around dance music, including record bags and T-shirts:





I've got one of their T-shirts with a turntable on the front and a mock 12" on the back.

Crafted also do a range of stuff with mock headphones on. I've got this shirt:

I would hope not.

When a genre of music has an associated fashion, you're going to find that millions of its 'fans' are actually just people who want to dress in a certain way and feel they should be able to namedrop a few bands in order to justify it. One of the best things about EDM is that it doesn't really have a fashion style linked to it, so when people listen to EDM they are presumably doing so because they actually appreciate it as music rather than just as a fashion statement.

The only exception, I suppose, is rave fashion (check something like cyberdog.net for an example) and its derivatives. And of course, EDM seems to attract people who want to wear sunglasses indoors. But compared to something like emo/metal, where pretty much every aspect of your appearance has to be in check before you're accepted into the scene, trance and house are hardly fashion-linked at all.

Actually, I just remembered about those Tiesto trainers.

Theres tons of psychedelic t-shirts and stuff. I don't see anyone dressing that way even though they don't like psy though.

yeah i ended up searching for it after clicking around on the site that unicorn came from. it seems the only other online stores you can buy tie-dyes from are tiny amateur home-run sites that look straight out of 1997, all US-based too ( = silly shipping costs for me). none looked as good as infinitee's though, i'm considering emailing them asking if they do those shirts in plain



...or if all else fails i could just go with the unicorn. i... i think i can hear it calling to me.
