Need info: Pioneer DJM 1000

I have been hearing things about a new pioneer mixer, the "1000". Im guessing its the step up from the 600. Im a fan of pioneer mixers so i would like to get some info on this

you are maybe thinking the 3000, which is like the DJM600, but a 19" rackmount mixer, with one more effect.

the 3000 is pretty much the same as the 600, its cheaper than the 600 too.. odd.

anyway, all i've noticed in difference is a few new effects.. only a 'few' tho.. and change in layout.. (which i think is shit cos its too cramped)

theres a few other things.. nothing major though.

i'd say pionner mixers are o.k, but there are better mixes for half the price of the pionner!!!!!.. like the vestax pcv - 275 which is an excelent mixer!!

its an excelent mixer for trance, it has 3 channels, Eq for each channel! (Hi,Mid,Lo)

Its new PCV faders can stand up to 2,000,000 FADES!!! ( 2 Million )
and its half the price as the djm600, the effects on the 600 are absolutly crap and i dont think you'll be using them that much...

so if u have the money for a djm600, i'd say but the Vestax PCV - 275, saves u money 4 records 2

Ok. All i was saying was that a promoter friend of mine said that there is a new mixer thats coming out or is still in production. Who knows, maybe there is one in production, its been a while since they came out with a new mixer. How old is the 3000?

There is no DJM1000 yet, but there WILL be one, the work is in progress (got this info from reliable source). They made the DJM-3000 to match with the CMX-3000 (and 5000 also). In their optics, the DJM500/600 are matching with the CDJ500/700. Dunno what features will be on it, but you can bet they want to react to the Tascam X-9 (that isn't so great btw). So probably we'll be dealing with a partially digital mixer.
