So who was Marek, anyway?

No info on Discogs and noone seems to know?

He made four tracks, three of which were absolutely brilliant. Me Chali, Lullaby and Gentle Touch. All great. Then he disappeared.

Anyone know who he was and whether he was an alias??

He was from Poland if I correctly remember. Must be in a goulag now.

Dunno much about him except that to my knowledge he's Russian, named Oleg Patsiansky and along with his alias Marek, has also worked under the guise Melodica together with Alexander Geroshka & Alexander Krasovsky and made tracks such as "Tornado" and "Song For Violin" and a remix of "PPK - ReLoad" and many more.
