Markus Schulz - Miami 2005

3 years going, and I still think it's the SH*T~!

My personal favorites...

Baltic Sea - Hammer & Bennett
Close Enough (Noel Sanger Mix) - Keo
Sublimate - Steve May
Sorrow - Sundawner
Connected (Santiago Nino Remix) - Ozgur Can

This CD got me onto Ozgur Can. It's one of those cd's where I like almost every track!

Yes this was one of his best releases. I still listen to it on occasion.

I was really disappointed with is Amsterdam '08 save for a few tracks.

I hope he gets back in form next year.

I also wish Ozgur would go back to the style he had in '04 and '05. He really put out some great stuff back then.

BTW, it's amazing how much that skyline behind him has changed in a few years.

What's he looking at?

I bet TigerPaw knows.

My guess is an atomic explosion in the harbor. Would explain why that side of his face is a lit up and his grim disposition.

I bet he's on one of the bridges crossing Biscayne Bay into Miami Beach. It's such a simple CD cover, but it's perfect. Dark, mellow, just like music.

Yeah, kinda started the downward trend, but his latest is a snoozefest on the first cd. I don't fall asleep on planes but I almost did listening to cd 1.

It really has been a consistently downward trend for this location series of his.

Miami '05 was remarkably solid on both discs, and continues to stand very well on its own after repeated listens.

Ibiza '06: first disc, more or less gold, with everything falling apart on the second. I don't think I've bothered to listen to the second disc more than a couple of times.

Amsterdam '07 was thoroughly disappointing (not to mention available at a ridiculous price in the few locations it was available here), and you could squeeze its finest moments on to one disc.

I have rather low expectations for '_____' '08.

TigerPaw knows what he was looking at, how long he was looking at it for, who was looking at him while he was looking at it, what he was thinking when looking at it, how many hairs were on his face when he looked at it...

Anyway, sounds like a caption thread to me.

I haven't really bought anything after Miami 2005, but it really sucks that you guys think he's been on a downward trend. Makes me not want to buy anything more, but I think I will just to see if you people are right.
