New Sasha & Digweed interview at Progressive-Sounds...
This was actually conducted quite some time ago (this year's WMC), but I think PS was waiting on the new site design to post it up:
Interview with Sasha & Digweed
Some of this information is dated by now (Transitions, volume 4 questions), but there's some interesting content here:
About Involver 2:

| Progressive-Sounds: Would you say its different from the first one in any particular way? How would you describe it? Sasha: I guess the artists are maybe more eclectic. But the actual sound of the record is much more pure I think. Its a very pure sounding record. We have Telefon Tel Aviv, M83, The Engineers, Thom Yorke, Ladytron. Theres a really quite diverse cross-section of artists on there, but the sound of the record is much purer I think then the last one. Ya know, the last one had guitars and kinda tempo changes and stuff, this album is very much more like four to the floor, and just kind of builds and grooves along and stays that way throughout the whole record. |

| Progressive-Sounds: Given your historic partnership, having been DJing together for a very long time, have you ever considered producing together? Sasha: We tried it once and it scared the crap out of us, it was a disaster. A total disaster. John: Well stick to DJing. |
nice interview, but i hate the new design, the shit looks like it was put together by 3 redbulled-to-death 15 years old kids on notepad.
i kind of wish i did make the trip to nyc to see em. oh well
so it's much more pure. great insight.

Sasha:
All I know is that whenever I look at a Beatport progressive house chart theres nothing in there that I play. So its impossible to put a label on it.
